College Hill
23 College Hill is located off Cannon Street within the City & comprises office accommodation from basement through to sixth floor.
MR Partnership were commissioned to refurbish the ground floor reception, 3rd to 6th floor offices, associated toilet cores, lift cars and lobbies to contemporary standards with the view to attracting new tenants.
The reception area only had an available floor area of 25sqm. We maximised the space by incorporating a compact bespoke DDA compliant desk and using a simple palette of materials with reflective enamelled glass panelling to the flanking walls.
The offices have a L-shaped configuration. We increased the lettable floor area and the flexibility of the office space by reconfiguring the entrance lobbies with fire rated glazed screens. The cramped existing toilet block was visually opened up by using large mirrors, slot lighting & frosted glass doors throughout.
The office floors were provided with new raised access floors and suspended ceilings designed with flexibility for adaptation to suit the structural module & incoming tenants requirements, and new lighting was designed to current standards.
