The Centre will provide specialist services to members of the Jewish Community who require short or long term support for severe and enduring mental health care.
The Centre will aim to provide best therapeutical practice and will enable many services to work together in a holistic way.
The Centre for Wellbeing will focus on the positive aspects of clients, building their self esteem, and enhancing their life skills to enable them to gain meaningful employment.
Architecturally the building needs to be light, bright and welcoming and allow members to access all areas of the building without compromising confidentiality.
Each area of the Centre will be multifunctional so that it can accommodate group working, meetings and therapeutical needs. It is possible that 20-25 staff could be working in the Centre at any one time.
It is hoped that a warm, light and inviting positive environment for all the Centre users and the staff who work there will contribute towards the sense of wellbeing.
