Ganton Street

Ganton House is located just off Carnaby Street in the West End. The 1930s building was extensive altered in a phased programme over two years as a number of the existing tenants remained in occupation throughout.

Initially a new 4,300sqft bar/restaurant was created in the previously difficult to let basement by breaking through a section of the ground floor slab. This was whilst the existing bar remained open. There then followed the extensive refurbishment of the upper five floors of the building. A second passenger lift was installed, new toilets were built on every floor and a new double height entrance foyer was created by removing the floor slab above.

The office floors were extensively refurbished with a new raised floor, new lighting throughout and comfort cooling added (total nett letable area = approx. 19,000 ft²). The external elevations were also upgraded to be in-keeping with the new interior by rendering the upper floors and by the remodelling the ground and first floor with the application of new windows and stone cladding. A new timber decked terrace was also created on the roof (sixth floor).
